Answer: Bagged machines has many advantages over bagless vacuum cleaners
most inportant are better filtration, less loss of power 
as bag or bagless dirt container fills.  Easier mantaince
 on baged machines when the bag is full just throw away old bag
and clean the filters once or twice a year compare to a bagless
you need to clean the  hepa filter "messy job"
afer each dirt container filled for the cleaner to work its best
while it looks like your picking a lot of dirt in the bagless vacuum
compare to a baged the reason is that a baged machine compacts 
the dirt where a bagless fluffs up the dirt to give the illusion
of more you can actuly put around ten bagless dirt container 
full of dirt in one paper baged machine. We get a lot of bagless
vacuum cleaner are shop with burned out motors 
reason is that the low volume hepa filters that they use restricts
the airflow of the vacuum; The airflow is what helps motor to stay cool  
by restricting it make the motor work harder and thus burn out
